Composite Cladding VS ASA Cladding

They are both the stars in the exterior finishing material. Better than PVC or wood material. Composite Cladding are popular in Europe and North America. ASA cladding is popular in Asia. What’s the difference? How to pick?

Composite cladding, HDPE+Wood Powder, there is co-extrusion and non co-extrusion. It’s like the wood. Co-extrusion composite cladding has PE protection to anti-color fading and resist salt spray and alkaline corrosion from seawater. Non co-extrusion has wood powder on the surface to be like the real wood. But not anti-color. And couldn’t last for 10 years after hot and rainy days.

ASA cladding, ASA Cap Layer+PVC Foam. ASA Cap layer is made of ASA resin (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate).Prevents fading and degradation from sunlight.Withstands rain, snow, and extreme temperatures.Color stability.Retains vibrant colors for 10+ years without repainting. Scratch & impact resistance ,harder surface than PVC or WPC. It is like the painted wood.If you have a garden, and you want white wood to decorate. The half ASA co-extrusion is a good choice. Brush wired surface make it be like the painted white wood.

If you want a durable product, choose ASA co-extrusion cladding.

If you want a wood like product, choose Composite non-co-extrusion product.

If you want some wood style and a lot of anti-color fading, choose ASA co-extrusion cladding.

If you want lots of wood style, some anti-color fading, choose Composite co-extrusion cladding.
